Malta Gaming Authority

Initially referred to as the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is an organization created by the Maltese government in 2001 to regulate the gambling space in its country. Together with the UK Gambling Commission, this outfit is one of the most authoritative as far as gambling regulatory bodies are concerned. The body is tasked with ensuring that all casinos with MGA licenses conform to the gambling regulations of Malta.
