Playing Flop Poker is simple yet strategic. To begin, place your initial bet known as an "ante." You will then receive three face-down cards called "hole" cards while two community cards are placed face up on the table – this stage is known as "the flop." At this point, you have two choices: either fold and forfeit your ante or continue playing by placing another bet equal to twice your ante.
Once all bets are placed, two additional community cards are revealed one at a time – these stages are referred to as "the turn" and "the river." Throughout these rounds, it's crucial to analyze both your hole cards and the community ones in order to make informed decisions about whether or not to increase your wager.
To determine who wins at showdown (when all betting rounds are complete), both you and the dealer must use any combination of five out of seven available cards – yours being hole plus community versus just their own hole plus community – making it essential for players' hands to be stronger than the dealer's. Remember, the better your hand, the higher your payout!
